Compliance Working Student or Internship

Job description

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

You will be part of the Compliance and Risk Team at AAM, either as an intern or working student, involved in  designing and coordinating compliance processes and supporting the implementation of different projects at AAM and across our international organization of affiliated asset managers (PIMCO and AllianzGI).

 

What you do

 

You will be responsible for providing reliable and practical compliance related support to our Compliance team  and driving key compliance program initiatives forward in a fast-paced and change-driven international office, including supporting the following matters and projects:

·  Supporting the review of new regulations and assessing the impact on the Asset Management industry
·  Contributing to the project of introducing and implementing a new tool for Legal Change Management (LCM)
·  Supporting the documentation of regulatory changes in a LCM tool to provide global access to information and effects for the Asset Management segment
·  Supporting operational activities for Compliance such as Compliance Trainings, documentation requirements

 

 

What you bring

 

·  Advanced study period in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance, ideally with Legal as minor subject
·  First work experience e.g., as an Intern or with an apprenticeship program will be a bonus
·  Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, German conversational skills
·  High service-orientation, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills
·  Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgement
·  Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure as part of a team
·  Willingness to innovate, learn and actively contribute to the success of the Compliance department and broader firm
·  Proficiency and affinity in working with IT tools
