The incumbent will provide proactive and reactive Compliance support for the insurance portfolio of the Company.
The function is responsible for:
• Coordinate and maintain Compliance programmes.
• Oversee the general operational set up and projects from a Compliance perspective.
• Ensure communication and implementation of the applicable policies and procedures for the business.
• Liaise with stakeholders in initiatives, exercises, project and schemes relating to the business.
• Ensure that compliance issues/concerns are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
• Develop, maintain and revise policies and guidelines to ensure that the Company is in compliance with all necessary
guidelines, regulations and legislation and tracking, monitoring and reporting of the Company’s overall state of
Compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and emerging trends as well as their implications from a
regulatory/compliance perspective.
• Day-to-day adjudication of name screening alerts and/or transaction monitoring alerts.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.
Capabilities and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4-6 years financial services industry compliance/audit experience
• Good understanding of the Singapore Insurance regulatory landscape
• Possess sound working knowledge of regulations impacting financial crime risks including but not limited to money
laundering, terrorism financing, bribery and corruption and fraud.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizations skills
• Proven team player and ability to work independently, establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues
from different backgrounds and functions
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
