AI Trainee

About the Role

We are looking for a technically minded AI talent to join Allianz Technology and support the launch and growth of our AI Community of Practice (CoP) and overall AI initiatives. 
You will work closely with the IT Strategist and the AI Leaders, connecting strategy and execution across all AI & Generative AI projects. Your mission: to boost AI visibility, engagement, and understanding across Allianz by creating high-quality AI content, supporting community activities, and helping bridge communication between technical teams and the wider organization. 

This is a hands-on role — ideal for someone who loves exploring AI models, prompt engineering, and data workflows, and wants to apply that knowledge in a global enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities 

• Map and analyze all AI & GenAI initiatives, products, and tools developed across Allianz Technology. 

• Create and curate AI content — articles, summaries, visual explainers, and presentations — to make complex topics accessible and engaging. 

• Support the coordination of the AI Community of Practice, connecting practitioners and sharing best practices. 

• Collaborate with AI development teams to understand their products, frameworks, and architectures, and translate them into meaningful internal communications. 

• Contribute to the organization of AI trainings, workshops, and internal events to promote learning and adoption. 

• Explore AI tools (LLMs, copilots, automation scripts) to improve internal processes and community engagement.

What We’re Looking For 

• Strong technical curiosity and foundational knowledge of AI and Machine Learning (LLMs, NLP, vector search, or data science basics). 

• Basic experience with Python and common AI tools or libraries (e.g., OpenAI API, Azure AI, LangChain, Hugging Face) — academic or self-taught. 

• Ability to digest and explain complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. 

• Creative mindset with attention to structure, storytelling, and impact in your communication. 

• Proactive and collaborative attitude, comfortable engaging with technical experts and business stakeholders alike. 

• Solid skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Miro). 

• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
