About the Job  

 

Allianz is looking for a Cloud Security Expert to join our team and help protect our cloud-based workloads from security threats. In this role, you’ll design and implement detection mechanisms, drive response procedures, and collaborate with teams to ensure the security of our cloud environment, particularly in AWS and Azure. You’ll also play a key part in enhancing security measures, automating processes, and supporting critical security incidents.

What you do

 

·  Proactively suggest detection mechanisms and security controls for the cloud; implement and maintain detection mechanisms within security tools (SIEM, SOAR, CSPM).
·  Support the product owner in designing, prioritizing, and implementing a product vision and roadmap aligning with company objectives and security trends.
·  Present cloud security risks and attack techniques to both technical and non-technical groups and stakeholders.
·  Drive the design of response procedures for different detection scenarios, including post-incident analysis and review results.
·  Support different security measures, such as the rollout of cloud workload protection, to enhance the company’s security.
·  Align detections with stakeholders within the ACDC Tribe, the cloud team, and the security governance community; tailor detection scenarios based on specific customer setups.
·  Automate security processes within security tools; actively support the team during critical security incidents during investigation and eradication.

 

 

What you bring

 

·  In-depth understanding of cloud technology and attacker techniques specific to AWS and Azure
·  Proficient in security best practices for AWS and Azure
·  Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies and tools such as GitHub Advanced Security, Jenkins, and Terraform, for seamless integration of security into the development lifecycle
·  Demonstrated ability to work effectively in distributed teams and large corporations, fostering a cooperative and supportive atmosphere
·  Being curious with strong communication skills to simplify, and summarize complex information
·  Autonomy, excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills and mindset.
·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
