Claims Service Consultant – Consumer – Darwin

About the role

  • End to end management of domestic motor / property claims in accordance with the General Insurance Code of Practice.
  • Managing inbound, outbound calls and email correspondence within set SLAs and following company standards with the goal to achieve positive customer outcomes.
  • Provide excellent customer service, showcasing empathy and understanding while assisting with inquiries and resolving issues efficiently via multiple systems.
  • Understanding customer insights and feedback and always acting to put our customers best interest in everything you do.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, legislative and internal compliance obligations.

  • Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
  • Adaptable and comfortable with change in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Ability to recognize, avert, manage, and escalate conflicts effectively.

To be successful in the role, you will need to be available to work onsite, across the operating hours of the centre Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm on a rotating roster
