JOB SUMMARY

To vet through, assess third party bodily injury claims and to make the necessary offers/mandates for such claims.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Process and recommend settlement of TPBI claims
·  To assist in the “bulk settlement” project to reduce the number of direct settlement claims.
·  To assist in the cost saving exercise of the said project.
·  To approve claims upon proper verification of the documents and facts of the claim.
·  Assess, process and settle claims in accordance to company's, PIAM’s and BNM’s policies and guidelines
·  Ensure prompt, fair and reasonable claims
·  To ensure that the third party service providers are appointed when necessary and that the said appointments are in accordance to company’s guidelines.
·  To vet through the incoming mails and to distribute them accordingly.
·  Managing interactions with intermediaries and clients. Advise Policyholders, Claimants and Intermediaries on claims related matters
·  Attend to customers’ compliance in a timely and professional manner in particular to respond to FMB within prescribed timeframe
·  Review claims files regularly.
·  Review and improve claims processes

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

·  Bachelor's Degree in Law/Insurance/Biomedicine
·  At least 2 years working experience
·  Knowledge in third party bodily injury claims will be an added advantage
·  Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
·  Must be computer literate
·  Have a strong sense of commitment, teamwork and good interpersonal skills.
·  Must be able to work in a team and independently.
