Accounting Specialist

Job description

The advertised position acts as the central point of contact regarding account Payable and asset accounting for Allianz Technology SE and forms the interface to Allianz SE/H2-Group Accounting.

Position located in Barcelona.  

You will

·  Lead and oversee asset accounting activities, including the management, recording, and reporting of projects and fixed assets, depreciation, and disposals.
·  Conduct comprehensive analysis of intangible assets, such as patents, trademarks, and software, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
·  Lead account payables activities, including the support to outsourced team and KPI reporting.
·  Manage small projects of optimization and automatization in order to be more efficient.
·  Ensure compliance with IFRS and HGB accounting standards, including preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and notes in a timely and accurate manner.
·  Monitor internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to optimize processes.

Your skills

·  University degree in finance, business administration, economics or comparable professional experience
·  Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS as well as basic knowledge of tax law. Knowledge of HGB is a plus.
·  At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an auditing firm or in the area of ​​accounting for a company reporting according to IFRS and HGB
·  Proficient in English, German or French is a plus.
·  Team player, proactive and organized.
·  Sound handling of SAP (e.g. FI, FI-AA, MM), further IT knowledge is an advantage
·  Very good conceptual skills, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams and senior management.
