About The Opportunity:

Are you ready to drive growth in the powder coatings market? We're seeking a motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our team at AkzoNobel, Brisbane QLD, Australia, you'll report to the Senior State Sales Manager, Powder Coatings, and play a crucial role in managing activities through current and target powder coating accounts. If you're self-motivated, driven, and passionate about delivering sustained profit and growth, this is the role for you!

We will count on you to:

* Develop and implement sales strategies, reporting to the Senior State Sales Manager, to grow market share and meet sales targets.
* Meet sales volume, value, and gross margin goals for the assigned territory, aiming for enhanced profitability.
* Maintain relationships within the State and Regional powder coating markets to maximise new sales opportunities.
* Manage current and potential Powder Coatings key accounts, including Fabricators & Applicators, adhering to AkzoNobel sales policies, to drive sustained profit and business growth.
* Gather market intelligence to identify Powder Coatings opportunities in the State, aligning with AkzoNobel Business Principles to expand customer base and market share.
* Meet Health, Safety, Environment, and 5S targets to provide a safe work environment.
* What would you bring to the table?


For this role, we're seeking candidates with:

* Previous industry experience in the coatings industry, with technical sales preferred.
* Thorough knowledge of company products, systems, and application techniques.
* Good communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
* Self-motivated and driven individual with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong customer focus with a dedication to providing excellent service.
* Adaptability to navigate diverse customer needs and market dynamics.
* Willingness to travel regionally as required.
