The project :
Akkodis is working for projects related to signaling system, respecting European norm : ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) / ETCS (European Train Control System).
ERTMS aims at replacing the different national train control and command systems in Europe. Its deployment will enable the creation of a seamless European railway system and increase European railway's competitiveness:

You’ll be integrated in V&V Team working on rails equipment (Radio Block Center) and integrated by 9 super colleagues, ready to share their experience and help to train yourself! Very good atmosphere guaranteed.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Validation business line plays a key role in the organization. It is involved in several stages of the V-cycle, from the upstream phase of capturing the customer's needs to the integration with the customer.
As a V&V Engineer, and in close collaboration with the V&V Architect, you will be involved in all Validation & Verification activities of the program.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
Participate in the definition of the validation strategy
Participate in the specification and design of the integration and test means, and carry out the development of these means (test bench, recording tools, simulation software, etc.)
Participate in the writing of test plans
Carry out the tests, establish the test report and investigate and trace the detected anomalies
Synthesize test results
Ensure a technical interface with other professions, particularly with the system and software professions
Provide support to product users
The tests are mainly carried out in the laboratory, but the validation engineers may also be required to work directly on trains or ground installations.
Profile
• Master degree / engineer diploma specialized in IT / Computer science / Industrial / Embedded System / Generalist…
• First experience in Functional Validation / SW Testing (internship/ apprenticeship/ professional)
• Junior profiles are welcome!
• Interest in transport / railway sector
• Fluent in English (written / spoken)

• Knowledge in signaling (ERTMS / ETCS / CBTC/ UNISIG) appreciated
• Knowledge in DOORS / REQTIFY appreciated
