Job description

AKKA UK have a new project kicking off very soon and have a requirement, within our deisgn team, for a proven Technical Author who will be accountable for the following:-

 

Key Tasks & Accountability

·      Creation of user manuals from engineering teams

·      Documentation reviews for approval and sign off

·      Update of illustrations

·      Applying drawing changes

·      Support translation services and implement checks

Skills & Knowledge Required

·      Expert Technical Authoring

·      Strong attention to detail

·      Familiarity with technical drawings – 2D cad models (mechanical and electrical)

·      Experience in S1000D, S2000M, XML, PDF, JPEG/MPEG files, MadCAP Flare (beneficial)
