System Engineer (RF)

For an important customer in the aeronautical sector, we are looking for a system engineer, motivated and dynamic, to be inserted in a context of avant-garde and challenger.
where to be able to grow and get involved:

• Preparation and updating of Environmental/E3 Design Analysis;
• Validation of suppliers qualification documents (QPP’s, ATP’s, DDP’s, etc.);
• Issuing and control of compliance documentation, including E3 Design Reports, Test Procedures and Test Results;
• Witnessing of special testing of System / Equipment c/o labs selected by the Supplier.
• Support for the E3 test phases, including RF measures and writing of Test Procedures and Reports;
• Modeling and simulation of airplane’s electromagnetic behavior by means of dedicated software
• tools in particular for HIRF and Lightning issues;
• Modeling, with general purpose modeling and simulation suites (Matlab, Simulink), of complex electromagnetic models.

Desired profile

Profile:

The ideal candidate has a master's degree in electronic/electrical engineering, physics or equivalent cultures and has gained at least three years of experience on RF/EMC and Environmental design of aircraft, including simulation and modelling in Electromagnetism.

Skills requested:

• MS Office package (good level);
• Fluent written/spoken Technical English;
• Good basic theoretical knowledge on electronics and electromagnetics;
• Familiarity with Test development;
• Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation techniques (MoM, FEM, FDTD…)
• Good skills on general-purpose modeling and simulation tools as Matlab and Simulink.
• Familiarity with civil and military standards as RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-464.
