Job description
• Implements and coordinates the project development process.
• Performs pre-processing/post-processing of structural numerical simulations on different domains (crash, noise, vibrations, durability); Performs structural calculations of parts and components within the scope of activity in accordance with the client's requirements.
• Analyzes and proposes technical solutions for solving structural problems arising from numerical simulations.
• Prepares technical reports according to the simulation results.
• Propose orientations/modifications of the design according to the calculation results, in collaboration with the product/process experts.
• Constantly informs the client about the progress of the calculations.
• Comply with all internal customer procedures.
• Participates in meetings with the project team when requested.
• Assimilates the client's specific programs in order to get familiar with the databases and their specifics; participate in training to assimilate calculation methodologies and to contribute to their evolution.
Profile
• Completed higher technical studies.
• It is an advantage to have experience calculating on the chassis area, the wheel or the area under the car.
• Experience with calculation software: ANSA, METAPOST, PAM CRASH, ABAQUS, SIMPLEX, NASTRAN, PATRAN.
• Chassis calculation experience.
• Knowledge of material resistance.
• Foreign languages: intermediate-advanced English, French is a plus.
• Flexibility, rigor.
