With the aim of strengthening our team, we are looking for a:

Software/System Architect - Automotive


 

He/she will report to the Software Architect Team Leader and will be in charge of the requirements management mainly (but not only) for body controller products, focusing in particular on:

• Analyzing and understanding the customer (mainly software) requirements.

• Discussing with the customer where software requirements are concerned.

• Creating and maintaining internal software documentation (software requirements) complying with customer requirements and with LBE software guidelines.

 

Other involved products may be: door and trunk modules, gateway modules with cyber-security features

Due to aspects related to some functional safety features of the products, some requirements and documents will be at system level more than only software.

The ideal candidate is in possession of a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent culture.

In addition to an excellent knowledge of the English language, good problem-solving skills, time management and team work are required, including international ones. Maximum availability to travel in Italy and abroad is required.

 

Skills

Specifically, it requires:

·  Knowledge of documentation and configuration management tools. Rational DOORS and RTC (Rational Team Concert) would be a definite plus.
·  Knowledge of Software design for Automotive Embedded Systems
·  Knowledge of C programming language
·  Knowledge of RTOS, possibly OSEK, concepts
·  Knowledge of CAN and LIN protocols. Ethernet would also be a plus
·  Knowledge of a vehicle electronic architecture would be useful.
·  Capability of understanding an electrical schematicKnowledge of functional safety concepts (related to ISO 26262 standard)
