Job Title: Project Engineer / FCS Integration Test Rig (FCS means: Flight
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration of assignment: 6 months
Job Description
To support the MRJ project, Client is developing a new Systems Test Rig for the Flight Control Systems. The test rig is a modification of the existing structural test rig facility and will utilize the #90001 airframe. The LH wing will be equipped with real A/C systems and subjected to operational and failure case testing. To organize #90001 and #90028 certification tests, we need to procure modified high lift system actuators, including instrumented slat actuators and failed actuators to test failure cases relevant to the certification. This Sow covers the writing of the necessary specifications to procure that equipment and the management of the relation with that supplier (UTAS) for #90001. It also includes coordination and support for test and commissioning documents, as well as design activities related to that equipment.
Technical Requirements
The work shall include the writing of the specifications for the equipment needed from UTAS to perform testing. The test equipment needed is outlined in the table below:

· The work shall include tracking supplier progress, managing the relationship to ensure delivery in a timely manner and provide regular progress reports.
· The work shall be conducted by personnel experienced in aircraft systems, specifically high lift systems.
· The work shall involve coordination with Flight control system team, including support in writing test documents.
· The work shall involve organization of design of instrumentation and of shaft disconnect system.
· The work shall include support for torque simulation system, including coordination with MHI R&D.
· The work shall include support for commissioning document on the systems concerned by this SOW.
