The main responsibilities are:
Develop comprehensive documentation of diagnostic symptoms that meets the client’s organizational standards
Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation
Preparation of OBD certification documentation and smaller tasks connected to this main activity.
Negotiations with other functions within the company
Certification documentation creation and project coordination of OBD projects for multiple OEMs
Profile
The perfect candidate has:
Fluent English and German skills
Degree in vehicle engineering or vehicle technician degree, or a completed comparable engineering degree
At least 3 years of working experience in engineering area or in technical writing
Experience in handling INCA, scan tools such as DiagRA
Basic knowledge in embedded SW systems (SW-HW monitorings, architecture of such a system)
MS Office knowledge at intermediate level (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Advantage:
OBD-II related SW knowledge and/or documentation experience
Location: Mainly remote , with willingness to travel to Germany
