Job description

Description:Under this project, the supplied workforce expertise shall provide Virtual simulation services as necessary to support the development of the Powertrain virtual platforms including all the support activities surrounding the users of the virtual platform.  

 

Virtual Toolchain development
Virtual Vehicle platform integration (plant model integration with virtual ECU’s)
Powertrain configuration development and management
Testing/ validation of the virtual platforms
Application support to the users of the virtual platform
Mentoring and training for engineers on the toolchain.
Requirements:Requirements
Bachelors of Science in Engineering - Electrical, Mechanical 
2 years of related automotive / powertrain experience
Ability to interface well with others.

Preferred Experience
5 years of related automotive / powertrain experience 
Ability to work unsupervised-recognize priority and get it done.
Experience in virtual development tools
Experience in Powertrain
Experience in building virtual vehicles via Software In The Loop
Experience in Plant modeling tools such as GT-Power, AMESim etc.
Experience in regression testing
Experience in Physics based plant models
Train and Mentor FCA engineers on virtualization methods and processes
Driving and Travel Requirements:

Will be required to drive a company car.  A valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.       

Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
