The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:

·  European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
·  Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

A VIE within our department "DevOps on-Premise Solutions" as an IT Architect & Integrator (ITAI) (m/f/d) has arisen within Airbus Secure Land Communications GmbH in Ulm .

The university town Ulm is beautifully located at the river Danube between Munich (155km away) and Stuttgart (90km away) and offers a wide range of leisure and cultural activities. Here you can enjoy the quality of life under the highest church tower in the world and become part of a city that preserves its historical sights and shapes the future along the Danube at the same time.

The contract duration of VIE is 12 months with starting date from February/March 2025 .

Tasks & accountabilities:

Your main task will include:

·  Supporting the Head of DevOps on-premise
·  Support in projects within IT scope
·  Programm in Python, Ansible
·  Support in coordinating the implementation and documentation

Required Skills:

·  Graduated in Information Technology or Engineering or a comparable field of study.
·  General knowledge in IT infrastructure and tools (eg. GitLab, Confluence, Jira, …)
·  First experience with IT processes or capacity to quickly learn will be highly appreciated
·  IT process know-how (preferably first experience with programming)

In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:

·  Problem solving attitude
·  You’re an open-minded teamplayer with a proactive personality that helps you to drive change, solve problems and convince others
·  You are able to easily negotiate in English, an advanced level in German is a plus
