Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your Accountabilities
Reporting operationally to the Airbus Head of Future Programmes project (BYA) (in Toulouse, France) and functionally to the Airbus Head of Fuel Cell Propulsion (Hamburg, Germany), the job holder will be accountable for supporting the next gen project readiness activities.
With first exposure to aviation, the job holder will support the programme management central team located in Toulouse. He/she will support the preparation of the programme set up, including the preparation of launch facilities needs, project milestone and roadmap maturation and performance follow up of the involved functions in Engineering, Production, Programme and Procurement.

Your tasks and responsibilities
The candidate will have the following missions:
Programme set up
·
Support the successful maturation of the overall route to a programme launch for an all new Airbus Aircraft
·
Support and organize various streams of work in full and lean coordination with the programme management team in Toulouse and notably with the experts involved in preparing a master integrated planning and the major levers for overall programme efficiency
Infrastructure set up
·
Support the teams working on the infrastructure necessary to enable a next gen AC launch, including international footprint scenarios and extended enterprise (suppliers and partners)
·
Establish a time line, based on overall programme launch scenarios, to engage further in setting up the necessary launch and production ramp up infrastructure, and elaborate concrete action plans to initiate and monitor progress towards the retained scenarios
