We are looking for a Cabin Connectivity Test Engineer (m/f/d) in Hamburg.
As part of the Aircraft Cabin Test Center in Hamburg, we are an innovative department that develops and offers services to ensure the maturity of cabin systems prior to delivery to the customer.

Would you like to be part of the Airbus Test Center for Flight and Integration Testing in Hamburg, where we test and analyze the aircraft systems of tomorrow?
Your tasks and responsibilities

Your main task is to test and analyze Wi-Fi and cellular-based network infrastructure and operate a representative test environment for end-to-end connectivity and IFE (Inflight Entertainment) tests.
·
You will contribute to optimization by programming test tools and scripts (Python, NodeJS, and C languages).
·
Analyzing and understanding new Linux-based network challenges and approaches will lead to new test solutions.
·
You will perform your tasks in close collaboration with the cabin test teams and the design office.
·
We expect your active participation in Airbus innovation projects.
What do you bring with you?
·
University degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or equivalent, preferably with a master's degree.
·
Experience in IP-based system architecture and networks.
·
Experience in cloud computing.
·
Experience in satellite communications is a plus.
·
Basics in project and quality management.
·
Willingness to travel and fluent communication skills in German and English.
·
High self-motivation, transparency, responsibility, open-mindedness, teamwork skills, and openness to change.
·
Ability to handle multiple priorities in stressful situations and meet agreed deadlines.
