Job Description

Representation of Procurement Operations Cabin as the empowered point of contact for all operational issues related to cabin furnishing. Ensure full transparency on equipment availability and on equipment quality.

 Carry out incoming inspection in compliance with Airbus regulations.

 Identify inspection and qualification status in Taksy and PFIS (Couple Qualification Information System)

 Carry out physical inspections of internal Airbus deliveries following checklists and inspection procedure

 Check plausibility and purpose of restoring with regard to condition of goods

 Check properties of goods against customer requirements as laid down in special files FAI and Source Inspection reports

 Check certificates of airworthiness and related supplier documentation for external manufacturers/ maintenance organization and operators.

 Participate to operational key meetings with Logistic and FAL as operational contributor.

 Release inspection lots in SAP.

 Create Non-Conformities into the related FAL SAP system.

 Manage Supplier Intervention in the Logistic Centre Rework area.

 Identify areas of improvement together with FAL Quality (feed-back loop).

 Contribute to reduction of Cost of Non-Quality (CNQ), outstanding work and concessions.

 Develop and Manage the application of LEAN methods along the complete value stream for the final customer to accomplish the continuous improvement required to reduce cost of non-quality and to achieve operational excellence in the process

Qualifications Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree or training in a technical school/program in aeronautics or business with focus on procurement

 Be fluent in written and spoken English

 Intermediate knowledge of SAP and Taksy

 3-5 years of experiences in procurement and/or related fields of supply chain and quality

 Demonstrably effective communication skills including persuasion and influencing skills

 Experience in establishing and cultivating relationships with internal and external customers

 Ability to function as an effective member of an international team including flexibility and initiative

 Proven skills as a problem-solver and a record of meeting deadlines and completing tasks on time, on budget and at an acceptable level of quality
