Job Description:

A vacancy for a Product Security position has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse (Palays site).
The jobholder will contribute to ensure the Security of Airbus Defence and Space - Space Systems products and supporting services and systems.
The jobholder will be in charge of the analysis, definition and specification of the security aspects of Airbus Defence and Space - Space Systems products and their development, test, integration, production and support systems for Space Systems throughout their lifecycle.
The jobholder will have a supporting role in the ongoing definition, development and support of product security policies and business documentation required to ensure that Airbus Defence and Space products are developed securely to a defined standard.

Tasks and Responsibilities
As the successful candidate your main tasks & accountabilities are:
● Understand architecture documents of security and systems parts
● Lead the Security Risk analysis activities to answer efficiently the different queries
according to the system engineering, project, customer changes.
● Perform technical and progress meetings with the Project Security team
● Communicate with different Airbus stakeholders
● Manage subcontracted work packages
● Contribute to follow-up the implementation of remediation action plans
● Prepare documentation related to these assessments (minutes of meetings,
reports)
As the successful candidate you will be also involved in the
● Industrialization of the Security Risk Analysis for Space Systems domains
● Definition of security requirements for products and information systems, notably regarding the compliance of the national and international security regulations like NIS2, CRA, LOS.
● Design of security architectures for products and information systems.
● Specification of security measures to protect and defend Airbus products and
systems by ensuring their confidentiality, integrity and availability.
● the Airbus product security policies, methods and tools
The successful candidate will be subjected to an EU security clearance to a minimum of Secret in order to undertake related work in accordance with the business needs. This role will involve occasional travel for business and as such the jobholder must be able to travel according to the business needs.

Experience
● Information security Engineering – 5 years Minimum
● Space System – 3 years
A minimum 5 years of experience in Product security for Space systems engineering or
Aircraft, Helicopter, information systems, information security).  Experience should be in
the following fields:
● Background in Space Activities (system, satellite or ground segment)

● Background in Aircraft systems
● Operational experience in System Engineering and Development

OR:

● Information security standards and their implementation supporting the
DGA/ANSSI policies and guidance (Principally aligned with ISO27001 but
knowledge of other frameworks such as NIST, desirable)
● Systems and applications security architecture design
● Performed assessment of products and systems security maturity utilising
(Airbus Security Auditor Certification desirable)
● Threats and risk analysis methods and tools (e.g. EBIOS/PILAR/MAGERIT)
● Typical risk management decisions and necessary mitigations
● Creation and management of Product Security documentation in accordance with the BMS (PSLMP, PSCP)
● Impacts of legislation on Product Security
● Understanding of Security Management concepts within customer organisations across the Airbus Defence and Space client base

Other
● Strong Team spirit (cooperation, solidarity and mutual support within and across
teams)
● Strong knowledge of Security Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation
Processes
● Solid understanding of networking and communications protocols
● Solid knowledge of information systems
● Strong oral and written communication skills
● Language skills: negotiation level in English and French
● EU Security clearance requested
