Subject to the successful closing of the transaction with Spirit, after obtaining relevant regulatory approvals

We are looking for a Space Manager to join our team in Facilities Management and Real Estate, based at Belfast.

Using stakeholder management skills you will realise efficient space usage through the organisation by balancing needs and strategy. Promoting innovation and a best practice working environment, you will provide technical expertise on how best to maximise occupancy and space utilisation.

You will be expected to contribute to business improvement projects across the Facilities Management scope of work regarding digital transformation, Business & Performance Improvement

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

· 
Manage the company’s physical space inventory including tracking and maintaining space and occupancy information 

· 
Develop and implement solutions for business needs in accordance with the Facilities Management strategy

· 
Provide all necessary data and information for mid-term space evolution (Master planning) and a stable stakeholder management, taking responsibility for office space management database, drawings and space allocation

· 
Design and promote innovation in Airbus work spaces according to market trends 

· 
Accountable for the service delivery of space moves across the site. Key interface with Service & furniture providers to ensure the plan is enacted to Time, Cost and Quality

ABOUT YOU

· 
Experience in Strategic space planning and optimisation

· 
A sound understanding and knowledge of digital tools and processes

· 
Proficient in the use of the CAD tool

· 
An understanding of how space management and workplace design can positively impact wellbeing and improve efficiency and business finances

· 
Awareness of Building and Facility Management regulations

· 
Experience of Subcontractor management

· 
Demonstrated Project Management skills

· 
Basic understanding of Health & Safety regulations

· 
An understanding of digital tools and business / performance improvement would be an advantage
