Aerovel (The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program) is looking for a Sales Operations Coordinator to join our Sales department based in Bingen, WA .
This role plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within the sales organization. This position supports the Flexrotor sales team by managing key sales processes, developing proposals and commercial offers, maintaining CRM systems, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also provides essential marketing and event coordination support to help drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program offers one of the most advanced small tactical unmanned aerial systems (STUAS) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). It can be used day or night by US and allied forces for a diverse range of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) on land and at sea.

Your Challenges:
Primary Responsibilities:
BD Operations & Sales Enablement: 45%
·
Support sales proposals, quotes, and supporting documentation.
·
Collaborate with BD and UAS Sales champions to refine go-to-market strategies and customer presentations.
·
Ensure all customer-facing materials are consistent and brand-compliant.
·
Support Salesforce reporting, including lead and opportunity tracking, pipeline accuracy, and dashboard/report development.
·
Support compliance checks (AML/KYC, Export, Denied Party Screening).
·
Support internal communications and updates regarding new offerings, tools, or processes.
Marketing and Event Support: 25%
·
Support creation and maintenance of marketing collateral (brochures, presentations, digital assets).
·
Coordinate logistics for trade shows, conferences, and customer demos.
·
Analyze ROI of events and marketing initiatives; track lead follow-up and conversion.
·
Assist in brand awareness initiatives, including sponsorships and industry partnerships.
Commercial Offer Management: 20%
·
Coordinate updates to product configurations and pricing databases.
·
Track and report on quotation pipeline, bookings, and conversion rates.
·
Assist in development of pricing models and discount structures aligned with business objectives.
Administrative Support: 10%
·
Provide logistical and administrative support for sales team travel and customer site visits.
·
Contribute to operational improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
·
Assist in annual sales planning and forecasting efforts.

Required:
·
BS Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or equivalent experience
·
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Development, or Marketing.
·
10% Domestic and International travel involved
·
Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
·
Knowledge of, and experience with, military, civil agency and commercial contracting requirements.
·
Must be able to lead multiple simultaneous tasks with potentially overlapping deadlines.
·
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, solid follow-thru skills and strong motivation, personal and communication skills.
·
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
·
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English
·
Operator level proficiency in MS Office 2010 applications, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, MS Outlook and Salesforce
·
Advanced level proficiency in MS Office 2010 applications; MS Visio, operator level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Expert Choice,
·
Proficient in Salesforce and data analysis tools

Any experience in aviation industry (UAS)

Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily

Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Daily

Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Daily

Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs/5kgs.

Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs/5kgs.

Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Occasionally

Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Daily

Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Occasionally

Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Daily

Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site

Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.

Pay range:
Hourly pay range based on the required profile: $32 - $45/hour. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
