As a Data Analytics Specialist , you will join our dynamic Data, Analytics & Automation team , where we are dedicated to empowering the business with self-service tools, robust data foundations, and scalable analytics solutions. Our mission also includes upskilling teams across the organization to build long-term capabilities and promote a data-driven mindset.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with functional teams across all areas of the Satair organization. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, partnering with business analysts and domain experts to provide technological insights, define data standards, conduct diagnostics, and apply advanced analytics to optimize processes and maximize value for our customers.

Our team is truly global, reflecting Satair’s international footprint including our fast-growing presence in China. This means you will work in small, agile, cross-functional teams, focused on delivering practical, high-impact solutions side-by-side with the business.

Tasks & Accountabilities

Conduct in-depth data analysis and experimentation to uncover valuable business insights and support data-driven decision-making.

· 
Engage with functional teams to understand end-to-end processes, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities for improvement through data and emerging technologies.

· 
Translate analysis into actionable outcomes by developing automated tools, visual dashboards, reports, or workflows that enhance productivity and business value.

· 
Design and deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to quickly test, validate, and address critical business challenges.

· 
Act as a coach and advisor to cross-functional teams, guiding them on data quality improvement plans, and supporting them in developing their own MVPs and analytics use cases.

· 
Serve as the regional focal point in China, championing the adoption of analytics and automation tools. Foster awareness, facilitate collaboration, and support the organization’s transformation towards a data-driven culture.

Required Skills

We are looking for a dynamic, business-savvy individual who is passionate about data and technology, with a strong drive to deliver impactful results through collaboration and innovation.

You are a quick learner, passionate about your work and driven to get things done with a collaborative way of working.

· 
You bring a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset—comfortable with rapid experimentation and iteration when building digital products and tools.

· 
You understand the intersection of data and business processes and are passionate about solving real-world industrial and operational challenges.

· 
Robust coding abilities (Python, SQL, Java) & experience in working with APIs, algorithms, data structures would be a plus.
Experience with DevOps tools / modern cloud stack & practices would be a plus.

In addition to technical expertise, this role requires a specific set of soft skills to excel:

· 
Your ability to lead by example and inspire others to embrace technology and data-driven initiatives is essential. You'll need to be a role model, motivating teams and individuals to actively participate in the transformation process.

· 
Building strong relationships and working closely with cross-functional teams is a must. Collaboration and teamwork are vital for a successful data-driven transformation. Your ability to foster a culture of collaboration will be instrumental in achieving the goals

· 
Understanding the unique challenges and concerns of different teams and departments is important. You'll need to empathize with their concerns and tailor your approach to address their specific needs and apprehensions regarding technology and analytics adoption.

· 
A university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.

· 
3–5 years of experience in an analytics, data science, or similar role within a complex business environment.

· 
Strong knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
