About Airbus Management Consulting

Airbus Management Consulting is the new inhouse consulting unit of Airbus. We are just starting our ramp up! It is our mission to provide management consulting services on eye-level with top-tier external competitors, act as sparring partner for Airbus management and provide a talent pool for future Airbus leaders with in-depth understanding of Airbus and related industries. Airbus Management Consulting is hosted within Airbus Defence and Space, this Airbus division is our primary client, Airbus Commercial and Airbus Helicopter will gain significance over time. Airbus Management Consulting is based in France (Paris region and Toulouse) and Germany (Munich), but will conduct projects at a multitude of Airbus locations.

Job Description

As Working Student at Airbus Management Consulting (AMC) you will work on high impact projects (e.g., Business Strategy, Operational Excellence or Organization & Change Management) and in close cooperation with your clients. Supporting Airbus management decisions will give you unique insights and make this position the ideal to explore Airbus as well as the world of Consulting.

Location: Taufkirchen/Munich

Start: Q1 2021

Duration / End date: 12 Month

Tasks and accountabilities

·  Work hand-in-hand with your colleagues on the issues of the aerospace sector and specific issues to our company
·  Analyze trends, complex markets and processes to develop strategic and operational solutions to help Airbus maximize value creation
·  Support your Consulting team in deriving concrete recommendations for action, creating presentations and communicating your recommendations to AMC management and your client
·  Work in a team of highly motivated and skilled colleagues in an international environment

Required skills

·  Bachelor- or Master student with excellent grades from a renowned university
·  Excellent cognitive capabilities and the ambition to quickly master new skills and methodologies
·  Team player with excellent communication skills (verbal/non-verbal)
·  High flexibility and willingness to travel as required in consulting business (four days/ week on client site)
·  Previous internships at a top management consulting company or in relevant industries with strategic/consulting elements are a plus
·  Negotiation level in English and one other Airbus core language (French, German, Spanish) is required, everything else is a plus
·  Experience in Aerospace is a plus
