Job Objectives

The candidate will provide IT proximity support for our business users mainly on-site. The candidate will work closely with our IM operational team (Digital Workplace, Infrastructure & Platform, Security and Governance) to support end-users in the business environment with the use of existing and new technologies. Any IM organisation related activities may also be part of the job scope for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

● PC deployment using Airbus standard master image.
● Patch testing, validation and deployment.
● IT proximity support to local and remote users with regards to endpoint devices including but not limited to desktop, laptop, software, IT peripheral, printers, IP Phones, Video Conference system and projectors.
● Provide IT technical support to users including installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
● Liaise with relevant vendors on purchase, repair and maintenance of computers and related IT peripherals
● Maintain IT process documentation, knowledge based and user manual.
● RFQ and procurement for IT related purchase
● Asset & Inventory update in IT ServiceNow portal
● To pick up, resolve, update, close incidents and service requests tickets in the IT ServiceNow portal
● To support IT problem management and Change Request
● To work with IM East Asia Roof team on System Implementation and support when required
● Provide familiarization training to business users in regards to IT tools and services.
● Contribute to constantly improving service desk services, processes and procedures.
● Other duties as assigned

Secondary Responsibilities

● Contribute and collaborate with the Infrastructure & Platform team, Security team, Application team, Governance team, HOF Team, and other internal stakeholders for project related activities if necessary

Professional Skills

● Degree / Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
● Minimum 2 years relevant experience
● Understanding of ITIL and ITSM process
● Knowledge in Google Workspace, Microsoft products and Office network environment
● Familiar with Microsoft Active Directory
● Familiar with usage of a IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing tool
● Possess communication skills in English
