Airbus Helicopters is looking for an IT Operation Specialist (f/m) to join our IM (Information Management) Infrastructures & Digital Platforms based in Marignane, France.

As part of the Hosting PSL (Product Service Line), you will manage the lifecycle of the Linux and Unix solutions . You will work in collaboration with the Linux/Unix product manager for the design phase of the solutions and you will steer and support our providers for the operations of these solutions.

Your Challenges

As a Linux/Unix IT Operation Specialist, your will be accountable end-to-end of the main Hosting solutions and infrastructures hosted on Linux/Unix operating systems. To achieve this mission, you will:

· 
Collaborate with the Unix/linuxProduct Manager, Architects and Hosting Security Product Manager to gather requirements to participate in the design of the new solutions and features.

· 
Implement operations routines to monitor the healthiness, robustness, performance and maintain the security of the main solutions.

· 
Steer the provider and support them on Incident and Change management

· 
Maintain life cycle of IT assets and ensure the completeness of their technical & functional information including their relations in the configuration management database (CMDB).

· 
Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding the proper usage of Linux/Unix solutions

· 
Propose continuous improvement

· 
You are service oriented, always seeking for quality and simplicity, framed by the processes and constraints. You are able to explain your decisions to the requestors on rationales.

You have a team spirit, sharing your knowledge but able to be autonomous even on complex situations. You are open minded nesses, welcome feedback

· 
You have knowledge on the ITIL framework

· 
You understand the Unix and Linux systems behavior and needs in heterogeneous environments. You have troubleshooting skills allowing you to solve complex issues and provide effective solutions.

· 
You have a good knowledge on AIX, Solaris and Linux systems and their main administration tool set.
