Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of a Space Engineer? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) at the Electrical & Functional AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) Departement (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Location: Friedrichshafen
Start: October 2016
Duration: 5-6 months

We offer a semester-long internship on the project Astrobus (AS) 400, the new Airbus Defence & Space satellite platform for small earth observation satellites. The tasks are related to supporting functional test preparation and test execution at the simulator and engineering testing bed of AS 400.

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Learn and understand the functionality of satellite core components
·  Development of automated test scripts in TCL and JAVA using the Eclipse environment
·  Creation of animated graphical displays (synoptic) showing satellite telemetry data in realtime

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Technical Computer Science or similar field of study
·  Knowledge in programming (JAVA, TCL) helpfull
·  Interest in project work and satellites
·  English: fluent

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
