Location: Donauwörth
Start: Winter Semester
Duration: 5-6 months
A calibration rig is used for the preparation of Flight Test Instrumentation sensors in the FTI lab before installation on prototype helicopters. The rig equipment cover the calibration of e.g. accelerometers, current sensors, pressure sensors, strain gauges.
National Instruments software and hardware (LabView, Compaq Rio) are used for the control of the rig. You will work on an upgrade of the rig for new equipment as well as for new calibration functionalities.
Your Tasks:
· Installation of the current software version of NI LabView incl. libraries
· Analysis of the status of the current software code for calibration of strain gauge and pressure sensors, in cooperation with our lab specialist
· Upgrade of the current code
· Preparation of new code for further sensors e.g. current, as well as for new calibration reports
You offer:
· Enrolled student (f/m/d) in the field of electrotechnics, aerospace engineering or a comparable field of study
· Software and requirement engineering basics
· Practical experience in NI LabView or similar control software
· Team spirit and curiosity
· Autonomous way of working
· Fluent in English and German
