Description of the job

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of an engineer? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) in the “Maneuver & Ground Loads HAM” department (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Location: Hamburg
Start: Winter 2017/2018
Duration: 6 months
Afterwards there is the possibility for writing a final thesis, upon agreement with the department.

The internship is placed within the Engineering / Flight Physics / Loads & Aeroelastics domain. The work is related to flight and ground loads acting on aircraft in operation to support marketable services initiative targeting Single Aisle fleet hard landing monitoring.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your exciting tasks:

·  Data acquisition and signal processing collected in-service
·  Data analytics and code integration on external data cloud
·  Evaluation of in-service and flight test data
·  Documentation of all studies in English including used and developed software

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Aerospace Engineering or a similar field of study
·  Advanced Matlab and Python skills are mandatory
·  Excellent communication skills required
·  English: advanced skills
·  German: good skills

You are a good team player and you are able to work independently.
