As our Head KAM, Northern Europe, you will be at the forefront, connecting those who protect. Working in international projects, you'll lead customer relationships, business development and order intake achievement in Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Estonia, covering the full range of Airbus Defence and Space (DS) products, services and solutions. The role is situated in the Europe region of the Global Business organization, reporting to the Head of Western Europe and participating in the regional management team.

Your specific tasks include:

· 
Building positive, long-term and strategic relationships with customers, stakeholders and partners

· 
Achieving Order Intake targets, by identifying and developing leads through to business-winning Campaigns, in close cooperation with Programme Lines, Business Growth and Bid Management teams; as well as supporting the effective implementation of contracts

· 
Owning the overall customer relationship, including: acting as key interface throughout the sales and delivery cycle; supervising all business interactions with customers in the designated geography; bringing the Voice of the Customer into the company; and continuously improving customer loyalty, including implementation of the Customer Review Process and related actions

· 
Maintaining a robust assessment of the business potential and pipeline; generating a strategic vision on markets and driving the country strategy implementations, including the Airbus partnerships in place 

· 
Establishing Account Plans based on country / account, customer, DS portfolio and competitor knowledge; influencing company and customer stakeholders to bring the plans and related strategies to fruition

· 
Develop the MoD accounts in relation to the NATO accession of Finland and Sweden. 

· 
Representing DS interests in the sub-region at Group level; building effective and dynamic cooperation with Airbus Commercial/International and Helicopters to strengthen Airbus’ overall position and success

· 
Managing and supporting the professional development of the sub-region key account team; managing the sub-region budget and resources

· 
Sustaining Airbus values and ensuring strict adherence to Ethics & Compliance and Export Control rules at all times

In this role, we need a seasoned professional who excels in building long-term customer relationships. You have experience in business and sales strategy development and planning and proven success in building strategic relationships in an international context with B2B and/or B2G customers

In addition, we appreciate the following qualities in a top candidate:

MBA and/or M.Sc. in commercial/technical field

· 
Excellent customer service, presentation and negotiation skills

· 
Basic understanding of export control regulations as well as the fundamentals of ethics and compliance

· 
Experience and understanding of the military environment

· 
Strong interpersonal, teamwork and networking skills

· 
Willingness to travel internationally 

· 
Fluency in written and spoken English and Finnish; other languages such as Norwegian and Swedish are considered as beneficial.
