The Finance NextGen Programme is an Airbus Defence & Space-wide development programme. 

This programme is designed to identify and develop talented Leaders for the Airbus Finance Community who will contribute significantly towards achieving our business goals. The Finance NextGen Programme - sponsored by Airbus Defence & Space' CFO - enables its participants to enhance financial know-how and expertise, combined with further learning in management and leadership competencies.

The mission of the programme:

Fostering and deepening participants’ financial knowledge and expertise on the Airbus world of Finance, enlarging the scope to the international financial context

· 
Linking formal learning with rotating, real-business project assignments

· 
Increasing participants’ project management and leadership competencies 

· 
Encouraging networking, job shadowing, mobility and cross-cultural experiences

· 
Mentorship from a member of the Finance Top Management

This Program consists of two assignments in two different countries. Each assignment lasts for a period of two years. They are combined with off-the-job modules, designed to strengthen participant’s management and financial competencies.

For the first assignment this position can be based in Madrid, Toulouse or Munich. Here is the job description and required skills for the first two years:

Job Description

- Consolidating the combined and consolidated Divisional/Group financial information for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually closings (balance sheets, profit and loss, Cash flow and other additional related information), complying with IFRS standards and respecting deadlines and quality requirements.

- Contributing the analysis of the Financial Information in order to deliver on time and on quality data to the different customers (Reporting, Controlling, Investor relations, External auditors, etc.).

- Performing and developing analysis to support the decision taking process.

- Being responsible for performing the necessary consolidation restatements recording and documenting the entries.

- Rationalizing the impact of the financial statements. Ensuring the right level of communication and analysis to deliver information to Management & other stakeholders .

- Being the focal point for the entities under their scope in accounting topics which could arise.

- Being the LEAN Change agent for the Airbus Consolidation team: Supporting and promoting LEAN deployment in the Finance community and in particular in Consolidation. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the process and being proactive on projects and workshops on Consolidation activities.

- Annually, contributing to the additional information check and preparation for Airbus Group disclosures.

Required Skills

- Master’s degree or similar in the domain Finance and International Accounting

- Good knowledge in the area group consolidation in an international context, including deferred taxes, cash flow statements and preparation of the notes disclosure

- Knowledge in IFRS

- Very good skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Google suite.

- User in SAP SEM BCS or another consolidation tool is a plus

- Good understanding of financial internal control standards

- Capacity to work with multiple stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds

- English: fluent / negotiation level, additional languages such as German, French or Spanish are a plus
