We are looking for a Electronic Equipment Engineer at our Airbus Helicopters Marignane site.

Within the system division of the design office, the job holder is in charge of electronic equipment (control boxes, ancillary boards, sensors) for all civil and military helicopters.

Your challenges:

Your tasks and responsibilities :

· 
write the requirement specification of electronic equipment based on the needs defined by the system architects and the function design responsible.

· 
Assess the technical proposals provided by the external suppliers

· 
manage the supplier during all the development

· 
lead the main design and qualification reviews review and challenge the electronic design proposed by the supplier

· 
manage the interface between the supplier and Airbus Helicopters specialists (environmental qualification, electrical networks, safety, security, testability...)

· 
define the installation constraints in the helicopter and verify the compatiblity of electronic interfaces between equipment

· 
provide justifications required for certification

· 
provide technical support for helicopter integration, for ground and flight test, and for the Final Assembly Line

Your profile:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

- Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in Electronic or Aeronautical Engineering

- English : Advanced level

- French : Advanced level / beginner but who wants to learn

Technical Skills :

- Analog and digital electronics
- Aeronautical standards - DO254 (preferred)

Soft skills :
- Organization
- Relationship/communication

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
