Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a DOA Supplier Control Manager (DSCM-) (f/m) to join our Systems Center of Competence based in Toulouse, France.

Your challenges:
As a DOA Supplier Control Manager (DSCM) for Systems, you will be the primary engineering interface for a portfolio of crucial suppliers, responsible for ensuring their capabilities to meet Airbus's rigorous Design Organisation Approval (DOA) standards. This pivotal role involves managing supplier qualifications, overseeing performance, and fostering effective collaboration between our suppliers and internal Airbus functions like Design Office, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality to guarantee the integrity and success of our development programs.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:

Supplier Performance & Compliance Management:
·
Lead and consolidate the Engineering input for the overall Supplier Control process.
·
Regularly gather and consolidate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Design Organisation Approval (DOA) compliance (Part 21) for suppliers in your portfolio.
·
Monitor and ensure the resolution of any DOA requirement issues with suppliers.
·
Calculate and maintain an up-to-date "DOA criticality index" for each supplier.
·
Communicate supplier performance status, capabilities, identified risks, issues, non-conformities, and surveillance results to internal stakeholders.
·
Surveillance & Auditing:
·
Develop the Engineering Surveillance Report (ESR) as part of the broader Airbus Supplier Surveillance Plan.
·
Coordinate and share surveillance findings with the DOA Independent Monitoring function.
·
Verify supplier compliance documentation (e.g. DOA Compliance Table) and ensure it is kept up-to-date.
·
Request and prioritize supplier audits and assessments.
·
Support the closure of action plans resulting from audits and assessments.
·
Provide necessary Engineering and DOA inputs for procurement-led Supplier Control activities (like Supplier Control Reviews - SCR) and support escalation processes when needed.

Qualification & Delegation Administration:
·
Manage the process for granting Engineering Qualification/Delegation to suppliers.
·
Compile the necessary evidence and documentation dossiers required for formal approval issuance.
·
Process Improvement & Requirements Management:
·
Actively gather information and contribute to continuously improving the working relationship and processes between Airbus and the suppliers in your portfolio.

Manage Airbus Supplier Requirements (ASR) compliance.
·
Liaise with airworthiness authorities regarding external audits and findings related to suppliers.
·
Coordination on Design Standards:
·
Work in close coordination with the owner of the ABD0100 directive (the Airbus Design Standard defining general product and process requirements for equipment suppliers) to ensure alignment and consistent application of requirements.
