We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.
What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early March 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
Intership Job Description:
The appearance and quick development of new technologies is transforming Military Aviation exploring the possibility to endow Military Aircrafts with new improved capabilities and performance such as the challenge of detecting and identifying Stealth platforms (hardly detectable) what requires thinking about a new kind of RADAR that improve current target detection and identification performance provided for current ones .
New quantum radar technologies, based on quantum phenomena, can bring new opportunities to improve the performance of current RADAR systems and exploit new capabilities for Military Aircrafts.
The proposed work aims to study the state of the art of quantum RADAR technologies, the feasibility of its integration in Military Aircrafts and the new capabilities that this technology can provide.
This internship will bring the applicant a view of the current challenges in the integration of a Quantum RADAR in Military aircraft as well as an opportunity to apply system engineer methods for the study case.
The internship will be done in the Avionics Department, in the Surveillance area.
