We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector.The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.
What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early March 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
Internship Job Description:
In order to support the S19 & Legacy Programs Performance and Improvement team, Airbus Operations is looking for a trainee within S19 & Legacy Programme Production Line to support S19 & Legacy Program CDT Team.
This employment takes place on the company's premises, at the Airbus operations production site situated in Illescas.
List of responsibilities
Support the set-up of the line performance management, working together with the Performance and Line Managers on KPI to improve the overall performance of S19 & Legacy Programme production line.
Proactively identify improvements to increase Operational performance. Support corrective actions follow up.
Liaise with different departments to improve performance and work efficiency.
Support small projects related to digitalization and resource management.
Contribute to Health and Safety prevention and corrective actions implementation.
Support the CDT Team in managing administrative topics.
Required skills
As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

Recently graduates/Master students preferred in Engineering
·
English: negotiation level
·
Spanish: negotiation level.
·
IT affinity and willingness to work with Google tools
·
Programming skills
·
Good written and verbal communication skills
·
Team spirit and great collaboration skills
·
Ability to work in complex and international environments.
·
Open minded. Autonomy, ability to operate in new environments & in multi-functional teams
·
Team player
Following skills will be a plus:
·
Familiar with the aerostructure and aeronautical materials & manufacturing processes
·
Familiar with lean working methodologies
