AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - #DISCOVER I 2025/2026 - Starting date March 3rd 2025

We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector.The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

What does this internship consists in?

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early March 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Job Description:

Participation and support in projects to improve the efficiency of production processes for the manufacture of composite aerostructures through automation and robotic processes.

Tasks to be carried out:

Help with project management tasks
Assistance in monitoring automatic processes
Assist in the evaluation of machine productivity (OEE, Run at Rate,...)
Participation in the definition and development of new automation projects

Knowledge to be acquired

Project Management
Complex manufacturing systems
Lean manufacturing principles: Focused on improving machine performance
Technical skills mainly in ultrasonic evaluation technology and carbon tape laying

Projects and areas where the internship will be carried out

Mainly on retrofits of non-destructive testing machines, but also on new carbon laying machines.

Interfaces with other departments such as: industrial maintenance, quality, programmes,...

Tools to be used

Goolge workspace (GSheets, slides, GSite, lookerstudio,...)

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Master or Bachelor Degree in Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering, or related fields. 
- English & Spanish: negotiation level

- Programming and coding? Qué lenguaje de pogramación? - ...pero no debería ser una skill bloqueante.

- General knowledge in composite and lean manufacturing. 
Skills valued:

- Programming and coding (Phyton, Java)

- Analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in complex and international environments.
