Job description
Description of the job
Are you looking for a final year project? Would you like to discover the work of a Helicopter Design team? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us at the department HUMS/Flight Data Germany in Donauwörth from October/November 2015 on for a master/diploma thesis.
Understanding the hazardous situations and inherent risks of everyday helicopter operations allows operators to minimize unsafe acts and respond to them proactively before they lead to major incidents and accidents. Helicopter Flight Data Monitoring (HFDM) is a systematic method of accessing, analyzing and acting upon information obtained from flight data. It uses automated flight data analysis algorithms and 3D flight visualization tools which help to analyze and assess the risks in helicopter operations. Currently HFDM programs are becoming more popular due to the growing industry demand for increased safety. As a result the development of advanced and automated tools helping to analyze and improve helicopter operations safety is essential.
Topic of this final thesis: Concept Development for Advanced Helicopter Operations Data Analysis
Mission of the department is to propose, develop, implement and manage the Health / Usage / Flight Data Monitoring functions, Data Management concepts and advanced maintenance approaches such as Condition-Based Maintenance.
