The A330/A340 Family Chief Engineer’s Team is looking for an intern to join our self motivated and autonomous team.

The Chief Engineer’s team is primarily accountable for the airworthiness and safety of key aircraft components the Wing, Landing Gear, Fuel and Inerting systems.

We lead aircraft development projects by specifying technical requirements, managing engineering teams to deliver “best for aircraft” solutions and solving problems. We also actively support aircraft being assembled and those operating in-service.

Task & accountabilities :

We will want you to do the role in your way, but typically you will be:

·  Working with the Chief Engineering team on product evolution of the A330 family by defining aircraft technologies and requirements, attending regular team meetings and contributing to product development ideas and projects.
·  Continuous development of the existing fleet through the management of modification projects. This involves liaising and coordinating with a number of teams (Engineering, Airworthiness, Safety, Procurement etc.) to ensure that a robust integrated solution is achieved quickly and efficiently.
·  Improve the teams’ processes via internal improvement projects.
·  Developing yourself – your confidence, your technical capability and knowledge and working with people

·  You must be an undergraduate for the full duration of the placement working towards a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
·  Regular user of Office like applications Google Suite experience would be very beneficial
·  Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to summarise complex issues and communicate clearly in verbal and written forms and also in front of audiences
·  An understanding of project management principles for delivering objectives with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
·  Capable of building relationships, self-reflecting and listening.
·  Comfortable with taking the initiative and working independently to meet personal and team objectives.
