Airbus Defence and Space is a division of Airbus formed by combining the business activities of Cassidian, Astrium and Airbus Military. The new division is Europe’s number one defence and space enterprise, the second largest space business worldwide and among the top ten global defence enterprises. It employs some 40,000 employees generating revenues of approximately €14 billion per year.

A position as a CAE Engineer has arisen in Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The successful candidate will join the TEAIP-TL1 department.

The main tasks will be:

- Computer Analyst-Programmer, for developing web applications in the ASP.Net environment (VisualBasic.Net), with MySQL databases.

- Study methods and tools and assessment of numerical simulation necessities in Engineering organization of Airbus Military Aircraft from entire conception of architecture to service. It includes: Benchmarking, selection, installation, development, deployment and maintenance of CAE (Computer Aided Engineering ) equipment and tools.

- Support and carry out the optimization of CAE applications used primarily in the technical departments

- Benchmarking , management and administration and selection of CAE equipment and tools.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

- Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of Experience in an Engineering Area.
- Highly valuable knowledge in MySQL databases.
- High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode
- Advanced level of English
