Job Description
A new position of Aircraft systems Integration Engineer (m/f) has arisen in Airbus Commercial, Toulouse.
This position is opened in one of the pioneering teams of Airbus design office, to work on current and future aircraft.
You will join a small and nice team whose mission is to drive and engage the extended Systems Community to achieve a global optimum in the design, development and integration of the aircraft systems, defining and implementing new standards that leverage new technologies and methodologies.
This is why the team is connected to a lot of Airbus stakeholders like all other system designer teams, ground and flight test teams and program chief engineering teams.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include following activities:
· Represent the systems at aircraft level, in verification and validation of new developments on an aggressive schedule and high level of quality and maturity
· Work collaboratively with system architects, system designer teams and test teams to define the scope of verification and validation activities and build overall integration plans
· Perform analysis of new designs and align systems integration strategies
· Verify system test coverage on flight aircraft, test benches and simulation platform and validate the as-built systems are ready for flight, for certification or for Entry Into Service
· Support system engineering tools and methods transformation on a disruptive and ambitious approach to prepare next generation aircraft
· Drive method changes, deploy innovative ways of working within aircraft systems community
You will have the following skills and experience:
· Engineer degree in system engineering or computer science discipline
· An experience in system design or system integration would be a plus
· Complex systems, avionics systems
· System engineering
· Aeronautics knowledge
· Test instructions writing and/or execution
· Model-Based System Engineering
· Agile methods
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Supplier management
· Creativity, Innovative mindset
· Self-motivated with organizational, communication and documentation skills
· A negotiation level of English and French is required
