Job Description:
An exciting opportunity for an Airbus Services Value Architect (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Blagnac. You will join the Services Marketing Department.
The Value Architect role is an essential role in our product portfolio positioning and value assessment of our services.
You will have to develop and apply a set of methods and tools to analyse and determine the value created by the various products/solutions/services of Airbus Services (SL) including FHS, Upgrades, Training, Digital solutions, Airframe Services and new services.
Your assessments will be developed with the Business Line marketing team but also with key stakeholders in the business line itself , business owners and business experts from SL, external customers, etc.
Your assessments will support the “strategic marketing” activities in giving guidance to the marketing teams about the new markets and lines of business to develop, the “product marketing” activities by refining pricing and reviewing portfolio priorities and the “operational marketing” activities by supporting business cases elaboration.
You will report to the Head of Airbus Services Marketing team.
Task & accountabilities:
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Developing a set of methods and tools to analyze and determine the value created by the various products/solutions/services of Airbus Services
· Measurements: Business measurements in terms of value and performance measurements as well as system measurements in terms of system key performance indicators (KPIs) and process performance indicators (PPIs), cockpits, scorecards and dashboards.
· Performance: Performance expectations and requirements (e.g. service, process, data, etc.), performance drivers (external and internal), performance bottlenecks, performance measurements, business performance indicators (BPIs) and key performance drivers in performance maps, matrices and models as well as performance management.
· Value: Value expectations and requirements (e.g. service, process, data, etc.), value drivers (external and internal), value bottlenecks/value clusters, value measurements, value maps, matrices and models, revenue model, value-based costing, value-based modelling as well as value management.
- Deploying those methods and tools within Airbus Services Marketing department,
- Supporting business case calculations and presentations to decision makers,
- Organizing and running workshops with external customers (airlines and others) to capture value drivers,
-Ensuring specific measurements of the business value are set up, deployed and used,
-Organizing regular value assessment meetings, workshops, exchanges in order to understand precisely the sources of value creation,
-Aligning calculation methods to Airbus Financial standards,
-Promoting a behavior targeting value creation within the product and services teams at all stages of the product/service lifecycle (ideation, design, development, deployment, operation).
This role will involve some travel for business worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills :
You will have the following skills and experience:
At least 3 years of experience in the aeronautics industry, ideally within an airline (operations, maintenance…)
At least 3 years of experience in Business, Finance, Analytical Marketing or similar disciplines,
Ability to make value assessment based on strong methodology,
Ability to create business cases and pricing policies,
Ability to understand, analyze and translate numeral data into concrete business situations,
Customer-oriented,
Autonomy and Team spirit,
Excellent communication skills,
Language Skills: English Negotiation Level (French will be a plus).
