Job Description

You have skills in Electronics and Electro-mechanics, you are passionate about aircraft and the electrification of their main functions, you are interested in flight mechanics as well as in the industrialization of electric vehicles, maintenance and logistics of keeping electrical systems in service or piloting drones, join Airbus Hélicopters.

The Electrical Power & Lightings department is looking for an experienced engineer profile with strong skills in Electricity and Mechatronics in order to strengthen the team in charge of the electrification of vertical take-off and landing devices (VTOL) and the reduction of CO2 emissions .

The position is very focused on innovation in the fields of electric or hybrid propulsion as well as non-CO2 energy sources (H2, Fuel cells) but requires experience on the constraints of the serial application of aeronautical products , a good vision of the industrialization of the imagined solutions and their maintenance in service at minimum costs.
Beyond the strong skills in Electricity, Power Electronics and Mechatronics that must be possessed, the position also requires a fairly transverse vision on the EWIS (Electrical Wiring & Integration system), automatic and mechanical flight control, vehicle management, centralized avionics, mechanical assemblies (including rotors and blades) and of course on the engines.
Advanced experience in handling flight and personal safety aspects, design quality (APQP), engineering system (ARP4754a, DO178, DO254), environmental conditions (D0160,), aircraft certification (CS & AMC / ARP) will also be wanted.
