A vacancy for an Acoustics Simulation Engineer (m/f/d) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “Acoustics & Vibration MAN”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

¤ Assumption of tasks in the discipline of Computational Aeroacoustics
¤ Simulation and prediction of noise sources, footprints
• Acoustic optimization
¤ Cooperation and negotiations with suppliers
¤ Takeover of special projects of the department

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

¤ University degree in Engineering (Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering) or similar.
¤ Professional experience in engineering in acoustics and vibrations
¤ Knowledge of the entire development process of the aircraft
¤ Knowledge with respect to CATIA, MATLAB, CAA and CFD are mandatory.
¤ Willingness to undertake regular business trips
¤ Team player, assertiveness and a holistic way of thinking
¤ Fluent in English, German would be a plus
