Purpose:

The objective of the Digital Marketing Intern is to drive brand awareness and traffic to the adidas.ca website through various different digital marketing channels.

This internship is an excellent learning opportunity for a top talent with strong communication, creative problem-solving skills and a passion for sports and the sporting goods industry. You are going to master challenges in this team as well as be involved in cross-functional projects.

Duration: May 6th - August 23rd 2019 (16 weeks)

Remuneration: 15CAD/ hour

Key Responsibilities (Functional):

· Work within all digital marketing channels to deliver best in class advertising for the adidas brand.
· Collect channel insights and deliver consumer engagement reports including improvement recommendations.
· Drive quality traffic to websites with efficient and affective channel spend resulting in strong ROAS.
· Deliver insights and recommendations on cross-channel and cross-device user behaviour and attribution
· Support the analysis of A/B tests and drive innovative marketing techniques
· Provide channel specific performance insights for weekly management team meeting

Affiliate Channel Advertising

· Develop and manage the affiliate channel strategy focusing driving traffic and sales through premium affiliates, key partners and specific discount and loyalty channels.
· Work with agency to onboarding, offers and promotional campaigns with partners.
· Through reporting and trend analysis find effective ways to drive efficient spending results in strong ROAS.

Digital Campaign Management

· Identify areas of opportunity within the current marketing calendar to create enhanced content.
· Assist in the rollout of digital marketing campaigns which include ideation, creation, implementation and analysis.
· Present finding to multiple business segments with results, learning and future strategy suggestions.

Cross Functional Team Work

· Work cross functionally with multiple internal teams and external agencies to advise and consult in the development of digital marketing strategies for digital campaigns.
· Work within the greater adidas Brand team to meet and exceed department goals of driving sales, innovation and customer satisfaction.

Key Relationships (Internal):

· Brand Comms, Retail, eComm, Sales, Customer Service, Product, Trade Marketing.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :

· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
· A passion for digital marketing and eCommerce, will to learn and stay informed on the latest trends.
· Creative thinker that is willing to tackle any challenge they encounter or is presented to them
· Relentless work ethic and dedication to helping improve the digital landscape of multiple brands.
· A passion for the sports footwear and apparel industry.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be enrolled in a College Diploma or University Degree program.
· Experience with creating and executing digital marketing campaigns is a plus
· Experience with such systems as (Google AdWords, Google Webmaster Tools, Adobe Omniture, Facebook Ad Manager, Demandware) is a plus.
· Proficiency in English is a must and French proficiency is an asset.
