Are you a skilled Workshop Technician or are you ready for an exciting career opportunity that offers growth and learning potential? Full training will be given - No experience required.
We are currently seeking a Workshop/Production Technician to join our Thame based client's friendly team, a leader in providing testing, inspection, and certification services, and a contributor to cutting-edge projects.
Our client offers full training with lots of progression. This position will start off on a temporary basis with a view to becoming permanent. It is essential that you possess a full UK driving licence and are over the age of 25 for insurance purposes.
What You'll Do:
· Build equipment based on electrical and mechanical drawings, showcasing your impeccable assembly skills.
· Inspect and repair returned equipment, providing detailed reports on required parts and labour time.
· Test completed equipment and prepare comprehensive test reports.
What You'll Need:
· Strong electro-mechanical assembly skills, including fault finding and wiring.
· Good knowledge wire and cable standards is desirable.
· Excellent understanding of pressure testing procedures.
· Familiarity with software and computer devices.
· Ability to problem-solve and strong math skills.
· Passion for contributing to research and development projects.
· Good attention to detail
· Comfortable using hand-held tools
