Welder/ Fitter

Location: New Milton
Salary: £15 per hour

Adecco Bournemouth is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join a reputable client. This role involves working with mild steel and occasionally aluminum to create and assemble machine chassis and metal frameworks. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

· 
Welding and Fabrication:

·  Mild steel box section welding.

·  Occasional aluminum welding.

·  Tacking and welding various assemblies.

· 
Material Preparation:

·  Selecting, measuring, cutting, and preparing materials as per specifications.

·  Interpreting technical drawings and specifications with accuracy.

· 
Assembly and Finishing:

·  Fitting electro-mechanical components into metal frames.

·  Finishing surfaces to a high standard.

·  Conducting visual inspections of completed work.

· 
Tool and Equipment Maintenance:

·  Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications/Skills:

·  Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication, particularly with mild steel and aluminum.

·  Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

·  Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.

·  Proficiency in handling and maintaining welding equipment.
