We are currently recruiting for a Customer Supply Coordinator for our client based in two different locations one based in Nottingham and another based in Derby.
The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the supply of industrial consumables to a key customer, managing stock levels and ensuring that excellent service levels are maintained at all times. You will ensure that the customer receives the correct goods at the right time.
To supervise the on-site service to the Customer
To help resolve and respond to any customer queries in an effective manner offering advice where necessary ensuring that they are escalated to the relevant persons
To ensure that all goods cross match and comply with the goods that have been ordered
To ensure that all goods received at the branch are booked in correctly & promptly
To ensure that all paperwork associated with goods is processed in line with Company guidelines
To ensure that all goods leaving the branch are clearly marked and correctly checked and packaged along with the appropriate paperwork
To ensure that all goods received from suppliers are processed through the warehouse on the same day as delivery
To register any requirements for stock replenishment, either upon the customer's order or within the counter re-order book
To ensure that items are re-stocked to the correct bins within the stores area.
To ensure that all code labels are legible and numerically up to date
To ensure that there is sufficient company literature both product and promotional available at the trade counter
To ensure that all goods to be returned to Head Office are analysed and have the correct paperwork
To ensure that any goods to be returned to external suppliers are promptly actioned and the correct paperwork is raised
To ensure that any goods brought in for repair or calibration are immediately actioned and regularly progressed
To assist with company stock takes as required twice yearly
To report to a member of the Management team any risk or hazard that may contravene the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974)
To comply with all parts of the Company's Employee Information Handbook, which is available from local management or via the Company's Intranet
To keep the branch and especially your work area clean, tidy and safe at all times
To carry out any reasonable management request
To represent the company in a professional manner at all times
To provide cover for the general administration of the site, including but not exclusive to the following: Purchasing, invoice queries, 'Pink' requisition sheets, confirming orders, weekly invoicing (customer), running the 'Below Profit' report, credit card administration, general filing of documents, progressing orders on suppliers, mobile phone spread sheet.
Previous experience in a Warehouse environment
Previous experience in a customer facing role
Forklift Truck License (This is Desirable)
Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
Understanding of working to targets
Must be a Team Player
Lead by example with a 'can do' approach
Excellent IT skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to resolve problems
Understanding of stock management
