Adecco are proud to be working with a large expanding company in Dover who are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative.
You will be paid £7.82 per hour, rising to £8.20 after 3 months probation.
Hours of work: Mon to Fri, 06:00 - 18:00, to begin with, changing to rotating shifts, 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off after training.
This role is warehouse based and requires a positive working attitude. The role will involve operating forklifts (training will beprovided), picking stock from order sheets, general warehouse duties, housekeeping and following the strict health and safety procedures of the company. You will need to communicate any issues with products or deliveries to the shift leader or manager.
The role is a demanding job that requires standing or moving in weather conditions but has great rewards for the right candidate.
Experience of an industrial, warehousing or distribution environment is desirable. We require a good level of written and spoken English and a great work ethic due to the demanding nature of the job. This post would suit someone who is flexible, has a basic understanding of health and safety and the willingness to learn and develop in an exciting industry.
Due to the location of our site your own transport will be required
