We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile Banking clients. They are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join them for an initial 6-month contract. However, there may be scope for extension.
Purpose of the Role:
The Talent Acquisition function is responsible for all hiring across the company, EMEA. This includes all permanent recruitment. As a key role in this team the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support the talent acquisition team in a full range of their duties, not limited to: providing logistical support for interviews, wash ups sessions and project support; extracting and distributing reports; editing and formatting documents; preparing materials for meetings and workshops and acting as a resource support for answering general recruitment enquiries.
Role Background:
The role is part of the Talent and Learning Centre of Excellence (COE) within HR. The purpose of team is to attract and develop a diverse and high performing workforce with the capabilities to lead and evolve the clients global business now and into the future.
In order to achieve this the team provides specialist expertise and consulting to HR Business Partners and Clients at all levels within EMEA across a wide range of areas including:
* Talent Acquisition
* Performance Management
* Learning and Management Development
* Talent Identification (including assessment and succession planning)
* Talent and Leadership Development Programmes
* Diversity and Inclusion
* Culture and Engagement
The role holder will be a part of our new centralised Talent Acquisition function within the company supporting the Talent Managers and Talent Acquisition Partners ("TAP's") who are managing the end to end recruitment activity for their client group.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Support the daily operations of the Talent Acquisition team, this includes:
· Taking the lead on all scheduling logistics for interviews and obtaining any supporting documents required as part of the TA process,
· Building strong partnerships with the TA Managers and TAP's to drive an efficient recruitment process and providing the best experience for both our internal and external stakeholders,
· Supporting the TA team by answering general team enquiries,
· Collaborating with TAP's to prepare and advertise internal vacancies,
· Assisting TAP's proactively manage their recruitment by booking placeholders in diaries for interview panellists for interviews and wash up sessions,
· Running and distributing regular reporting to the TA team,
· Providing support in editing, formatting and preparing documents as required by the Head of TA or the TA Managers,
· Supporting TA projects as requested by the TA Managers; and
· Providing any other adhoc reporting, logistical or admin support as requested by the TA Managers.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
· High level of IT literacy (particularly with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel).
· Strong ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a timely manner and a high-demand environment.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, while demonstrating professionalism and good judgement.
· Strong problem solving skills, combined with positive "can-do" attitude.
· Ability to seek advice and respond to guidance from Talent Acquisition colleagues.
· Ability to work in a flexible and adaptable manner within a global organisation.
· Prior experience in an administrative role is essential.
· Strong excel skills is highly desirable.
· Prior experience in talent acquisition is desirable.
Location:
This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients London office 3 days a week. You may be required to be in office 3-4 days a week for the first couple of weeks whilst training commences.
Working hours :
Standard working hours with some flex where required.
